Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
(Financial Year Ending 31/08/2026)
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Quantient Ltd (“Quantient”, “we”, “our”) has taken during the financial year ending 31/08/2026 to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or our supply chains.
1. Our Business and Structure
Quantient is a UK-based SaaS business providing capability assessment technology to higher education, public sector, and private organisations. Our mission is to make capability assessment accessible at scale, enabling smarter workforce planning and continuous improvement.
Headquarters: The Limes, Warfield, RG42 6DH
Employees: 3
Services: SaaS capability assessment platform
Supply chains: Primarily technology partners (hosting, cloud services, software development) and professional services (legal, consultancy, marketing).
2. Policies on Modern Slavery and Human Rights
Quantient is committed to conducting all aspects of our business ethically and with integrity. Our policies include:
Modern Slavery Policy – zero tolerance for slavery or human trafficking.
Supplier Code of Conduct – requiring compliance with labour laws, fair pay, and ethical treatment of workers.
Whistleblowing Policy – enabling staff and contractors to report concerns confidentially.
Recruitment Policy – ensuring fair hiring practices and preventing exploitative labour.
3. Due Diligence in Supply Chains
Our supply chain primarily consists of UK and international technology partners. To reduce risk, we:
Conduct checks on new suppliers, including review of labour standards and compliance.
Prioritise suppliers with recognised certifications (e.g., ISO standards, Modern Slavery compliance statements).
Include contractual clauses requiring suppliers to comply with the Modern Slavery Act.
4. Risk Assessment and Management
Given our size and supply chain profile, our risk exposure is relatively low. However, we recognise potential risks in:
Offshore software development and IT services.
Procurement of hardware and electronic equipment.
To mitigate these, we:
Assess supplier country risk based on external indices.
Engage with suppliers on modern slavery expectations.
Reserve the right to audit or terminate relationships if breaches are identified.
5. Training and Awareness
We are committed to raising awareness within our workforce. Steps taken include:
Providing induction training on modern slavery and ethical sourcing.
Ensuring staff involved in procurement are trained to identify risk factors.
Periodically updating staff on legal obligations and ethical practices.
6. Effectiveness and KPIs
To measure effectiveness, Quantient will monitor:
Percentage of suppliers reviewed for compliance.
Number of staff trained on modern slavery awareness.
Any reported incidents or concerns raised through whistleblowing channels.
7. Approval
